How To Style Curly Texture

When you’re always on the go, you need a hairstyle to keep up with the fast-paced lifestyle. The curly texture look is low maintenance, yet it still screams style. Super easy to achieve, you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it sooner.

This hairstyle is best to let dry naturally for better shape and texture. It’s just a case of wash and go, with minimal styling. Our video below will show you how to get the curly texture look in two easy steps.

How To Style: Curly Texture

Knowing which products to use is key to the curly texture hairstyle. Our video will show you how to apply them for a defined curl and extra volume. Continue reading to find out the best products to perfect your look.

Step 1: Strengthen Your Curl

You need to increase the texture within your hair as this makes it easier to get the desired look. The best way to do this is to start with towel dried hair because damp hair is more pliable. Take a sea salt spray and spritz enough to cover the longer lengths on top. Using your hands, scrunch it into the hair to help strengthen the curl. Not only does it make the curls lighter and more voluminous, it also smoothes out and tames straggled ends.

Step 2: Set Your Style

Now the curls have been defined, a small amount of styling paste needs to be used to keep the hair under control and set the style. After warming in the palms of your hands, loosely gather sections of hair and lightly grab to set the style without destroying the curls. An extra tip to remember is to make sure to not comb or brush your hair. Doing so will separate the curls and leave you with frizziness instead, which is definitely not what you want.
