Close shave
This Merkur Progress Chrome Plated Adjustable Safety Razor is my first true safety razor after years of using expensive generic models and having enough of paying high prices for cartridge blades I too the plunge and ordered one of these. Superb razor it gets closer than anything I've used but just need to be careful as there is nothing much to stop you slicing your skin. However, doesn't take a great deal to get use to after my second shave I've not nicked myself once. The razor is well made, feels good and looks good it's made shaving a pleasure again and can highly recommended one.
