With all the fantastic grooming products we get to put to the test here at Mankind each month, we don’t always get the opportunity to share our favourites, and that’s where our Best in Grooming series comes in. For this month’s instalment, we’ve put together a fantastic selection of exciting grooming products and steadfast essentials. If you’re looking to pick up something new for pay day, or you just want to know what’s getting us most excited here at Mankind this month, check out the Best in Grooming for July.
Perricone MD Cold Plasma Pus Eye Cream is an incredible eye cream which is densely packed with Omega 3, 6, and 9, essential fatty acids which are crucial to skin health that the body can’t produce on its own. These chemicals, along with resurfacing and colour correcting Vitamin C, act to firm, nourish and rejuvenate the skin around the eyes.
The Aesop Parsley Seed Anti Oxidant is a truly standout product, effective both as a serum to be used between cleansing and moisturising, or as a moisturiser in itself. Deeply nourishing, this Anti Oxidant rich serum derives its effectiveness from Grape and Parsley Seed.
A luxurious but affordable exfoliant, the Clinique For Men Face Scrub is an extremely effective pre-shave treatment as well as a an exfoliator, which uses a fine granular scrub to deeply cleanse the skin, while refreshing and rejuvenating the skin.
The Hawkins & Brimble Beard Oil makes use of Shea Butter and Argan Oil, as well as the antioxidant Vitamin E, softening beard hair and making it smell fantastic. Beard oils in general are incredible for those with facial hair, and this is a fantastic example which we’ve loved testing out.
The Sponge Wax from Hanz De Fuko is a high hold, high performance styler with maximum styling power but with outstanding remouldability. A water soluble, lightweight formulation with a matte finish, it’s great for naturalistic results without feeling heavy or darkening the hair.
The Michael Kors Extreme Speed EDT, with its top notes of Cardamom, Cypress, and Sage, bleeds into middle notes of Cinnamon and Violet Wood before giving way to Cedar, Patchouli and Tolu Balsam. It’s a refreshing, summery fragrance with a note of intrigue that makes it a winning addition to any man’s grooming routine.
The Aveda Thickening Hair Tonic is a boosts the volume of hair from root to tip while thickening and strengthening the hair. A pre-styling product, it performs the role of preparing your hair for styling impeccably well, and we’ve loved testing it out this month.
The FOREO ISSA Pro is an innovatively designed toothbrush, which makes use of silicone bristles, rather than typical plastic brushes, to transfer sonic pulses to the teeth. Rather than brushing with it, simply hold the ISSA Pro on the tooth for a few seconds, and the sonic pulses will break down plaque and tartar which builds up on the teeth. It’s stiff-bristled attachment is also incredibly effective at removing dark stains.
