Proper hair maintenance for men goes beyond a quick squirt of shampoo and a quick run through of the comb, it involves the right products, regular haircuts and taking care of your scalp!
Jordan – from our newly opened Mankind Salon, next to Total Fitness, Wilmslow offers you the all-important tips for hair care maintenance for men!
Is it OK too shampoo every day?
Yes, as long as you’re using the correct products for your hair type! Just use common sense. If your hair is dry don’t use a shampoo that removes oil – your just making your scalp dry. Use a normal shampoo and conditioner and its fine too wash 1000 times a day without any side effects.
What is the one product all men should own?
One thing that most men do not have in their bathroom cabinets! The shampoo’s partner in crime conditioner! Conditioners are a must, a healthy scalp means healthy hair – and not many men know this!
Is there a specific brand that every man should own?
Paul Mitchells Tea tree and Kerastase Homme range is a fantastic brand of products that caters for every head, it’s designed to clean and treat your scalp and style your hair at the same time, leaving you smelling completely fresh for the day! When I’m not trying out new make-up products, you can usually find me scrolling through Instagram, laughing at the latest snapchat filter, or catching up with friends over a few cocktails. Long Island Iced Tea is my staple.
