"I tried all of the super market brands, Gillette, Nivea for Men, etc, and then all of the more expensive brands, American Crew, Anthony logistics, Clarins Men, Clinique, Nickel etc until I came across this. It felt like I'd found the holy grail!! It smells wonderful, and gives me the closest, smoothest shave ever (and I have a very thick beard and very sensitive skin). Since then the only thing that's ever been able to stand up to this is Truefitt & Hill."

Excellent shaving cream

"This is an excellent shaving cream. The rose fragrance is simply unbelievable! I use this in conjunction with a badger shaving brush and it lathers exceptionally well with only 1-2 pea sized amounts. It softens the skin adequately and it is a million times better than ANY shaving soap which will literally dry your skin out. Some reviewers have commented on how this is very similar to the Truefitt and Hill shaving cream - I can believe that, seeing as both their respective ingredients are very similar, if not identical. Once the current tube finishes, it's either the Truefitt & Hill fragranced creams or this one. Bottom line - if you like an exceptional shaving cream with a rose fragrance - ditch the Gillette cans and purchase this tube."

"When used after Trumper's Skin Food and applied with a good badger hair brush this cream delivers an excellent shave day after day. Normally I can only shave every other day at most but this keeps my face smooth even on the notoriously tricky 'Wednesday Shave'.A tube of Trumper's shaving cream really does go a long way and lathers up beautifully.In total honesty I would say that the traditional shaving methods with a cream and brush beat the modern goop in a can any day of the week. It might take a bit extra time but the daily chore is now a pleasure.Wholeheartedly recommended."

"Of course I made the mistake of squirting too much cream into my shaving mug, however, and ended up with enough lather to shave a giant bear. You only need a tiny amount of cream, size of a 5p coin perhaps, and you can go over your face all day. Very good value for money. This product smells pleasant too and I got a fantastic shave. I put this cream on my face with a quality badger brush - it went on a treat and I'd highly recommend it."

"Bought This, after reading the reviews on the Internet, and I must say it lives up to it's reputation. As I have dry skin, used to get ingrown hairs, after using this for a week, my skin has cleared up totally!! So well worth the MONEY!! But it, all u need is a little pea size amount with a Decent Badger Brush, and u will have enough Lather for 2 - 3 shaves!!! ENJOY!!! & Adios!!"

"Its a very good shaving cream with a strong smell of Turkish delight. It foams well and the tube will last a long time. To improve the shave maybe use some shaving oil underneath for an even smoother and closer shave."
