Luxury and Quality

After switching from shaving foam a few years ago I never really saw any reason to change from a shaving soap but this caught my eye. I must say I'm glad it did, an amazingly luxurious cream which smells wonderful an lingers for hours. My shave was smooth and the razor sailed over my skin with no irritation after. Plus Id said its good value as well as I think this tub is gonna last me quite some time, which was one of my initial hesitations.

Fantastic

I started using Trumpers Shave Cream a few years ago, and will never go back to aerosol gels or foams. It gives such a clean, easy shave compared to other gels/foams, that I only have to shave every second day, and I rarely get razor burn, which I used to get often.

Creamy...

This is the second brand of Shaving Cream I have tried and it's a beauty. I have a thing about sandalwood and the last brand was also sandalwood but the fragrance from this one is more subtle and preferable. The cream also lathers easier and in general it's lovely stuff. Use with your badger hair (hair exclusively from the neck of the badger if you can afford it) brush and your off to a lovely shave.

Not the smell I was expecting, like others have said, but I soon got used to it, especially as it gives very good shaves just like the rest of their creams.

If a poem could be shaving cream.

Bought this for my fathers birthday (and promptly had a sneaky try for myself). in short, shave 10/10, smell 8/10, value 10/10. Honestly best shaving cream ive tried. Also, after your shave you can lather up again with a slightly thinner layer, and let it absorb (5 minutes max). It leaves the skin incredibly smoothe with a matte finish. And finally due to the thickness and how little you have to use i can imagine this lasting around 6-7 months, even if you shave every day. I think this is going to be a life long favourite of mine, and his.

I have used this for a couple of years. A lovely smooth and creamy lather, and lasts for ages. Scent is subtle, not overpowering. Highly recommended
