A Must Have!!
This is probably the best shave cream ever. Don't be put off by the price, this stuff lasts for months. It smells great, lubricates well, and leaves you feeling nice and soft. No problems for sensitive skin (well, it hasn't given me any problems). Definitely best applied with a brush, works best over a very light oil.

Has to be the best shaving cream on the market. Gives a brilliant lather when applied by brush, lovely smell and excellent value for money. The tub lasts for ever. Highly recommended

Lovely creamy lather, but I hate the smell.
I bought this when my Trumpers Sandalwood shave soap ran out. Though I was really pleased with the lather - very rich, gives a good shave - I was disappointed by the smell. I don't find it to be like their gorgeous-smelling Sandalwood Shaving Soap , but rather, for me personally, it's evocative of cigarette ashes and baby wipes. I almost gagged when I first smelt it, and still find it off-putting. However, others may disagree, and have done - the previous 2 reviewers found it 'subtle' and 'gorgeous' between them. For me it's 4/5 - the smell being its only downfall. Seems to go a long way too, and my Dad uses it without complaint.

A real disappointment
I love Trumper's shaving creams and would use nothing else. My favourites are Rose and Lime, but I decided to give this one a try. It was a real disappointment. It is nothing like the sandalwood shaving soap I used to use before changing to creams. It does not have that lovely spicy sandalwood smell; it smells of nothing in particular. Unless Trumper's reformulate this cream, I would give it a miss. They have much better shaving creams in their range.
