Brilliant!
I have started to use Shaving Oil as part of my daily ablutions and was tired of using cheap products based on mineral oil. I got the Ren oil and haven't looked back. My ritual is to shave when I am done showering. I keep my face wet, squirt a couple of pumps of this stuff into my hand and work it into the grain of my stubble. It really does help to soften and lift bristles. I then use my normal shaving soap/creme on top and use a badger hair brush to work the soap in. Now, I use a double-edge safety razor so there are no built-in lubricant strips to help ease the passage of razor across skin. However, the combination of shaving oil and lathered up creme makes shaving a brilliant experience. This product really does work and you need so little of it per shave that it lasts an age. Also, there is a nice scent to this, it smells natural and almost citrusy. Its really nice but not overpowering. I realise this product is priced pretty high but you really get what you pay for and your face will thank for using a natural and high quality product. Really, really like this stuff

At last - the ultimate shaving product
I use many other REN products, so just had to try out the Shaving Oil. Once again REN have proved why they are my Number One. No rash or sting and every single time a perfect smooth shave leaving my skin looking and feeling great. You don't need a lot so this 50ml bottle lasts for ages. Excellent value for money.

Good value, excellent results
The problem with shaving oil is that you tend to use more than you require. As most are supplied in 15ml bottles, shaving oil is an expensive purchase. REN supply you with a 50ml bottle made up of natural oils that smell, hmm, rather like a Christmas pudding! Get this and improve your shaving. Value-driven REN product.

Excellent
This is easy to use and avoid the excess oil left by other shave oils. It smells slightly odd but not unpleasant. I have tried several others but keep coming back to REN.

Lovely stuff
This is fantastic stuff! I put it on before applying shaving cream, and it really does make a huge difference when using a Merkur Futur. It makes nicks and shaving burn minimal, and smells a bit like a well known German herbal liqueur to boot (in a good way)!

Pretty good but not awesome
This is a good light oil that washes off easily. If that's what you want then you can't really go wrong here. However, I find that it doesn't soften hair as well as some more heavy duty oils and, as I shave in the shower, find that it's easy-wash-off. Nature is not ideal.
