Magic
I was sceptical of the powers of the alum block but decided to take an expensive gamble. I'm really glad I did. I have a mole above my top lip which from time to time I knick shaving. I did this recently so applied my alum block to it and it instantly stopped bleeding. It was like magic. It also provides a good astringent quality, leaving my face feeling purified and cleansed. The block seems to last and last so although quite an outlay up front, it seems to be good value for money.

Excellent Product and Service!
For those of you who are looking to take a step up in your shaving ritual, this may do the trick. The Alum Block is a powerful antiseptic and an astringent, which means it is effective in several different ways. It is effective at: Closing up shaving cuts and reducing the chances of an infection. Reducing post-shave redness and redness associated with razor rashes and ingrown hairs. Closing up the pores - this is useful post-shave to keep the pores dirt-free after washing the face. In addition to this, I found that using this product also made my skin look clearer. This particular alum block appears to be high-quality, and if looked after well could last a very long time. Delivery was fantastic as to be expected from Mankind. I highly recommend this product.

Ouch just got better quicker!
Great product. I have had a few problems with cuts and nicks but this product quickly soothed and stopped them bleeding. Better than going to work with a piece of toilet paper on your cut!

Trumper block of Alum
Found this product absolutely fantastic. Stops those little nick and cuts and makes your skin taught and feeling great Remember my Dad used something similiar when I was a child.Great product brought back good memories. Worth every penny will last ages.

Excellent aftershave product
I use a block of this after shaving... just rub it all over shaved area then put on an aftershave lotion. Stops any bleeding on nicks and cuts and leaves your skin amazingly smooth. Highly recommended and will last an absolute age too!

5000 Years and still going stong
I have had this Alum block for a 4 months now and it look like it will still last for another 12 months. Simple but very effective. The block does seal up any nicks you may get while soothing any redness you get from shaving, The Ancient Egyptians knew a thing or two back then and this is one of them

Bleeding marvellous!
I quite ofen nick myself shaving and it takes ages to stop the bleeding.. This alum bar works a treat and stops it immediately. You just wet it and run it over the shaved portion of your face. Gives a nice tingle and smoothes your skin. I moisturise after though.

Great product
I brought this for my husband and he thinks it's great. It stings slightly when he applies the block after shaving, but it seems to reduce bleeding/redness. The block itself is a bit larger than other products I've seen online, and comes in a plastic box, so won't make a mess in the bathroom.
