6yrs later, still going strong
I bought the Nose Hair Trimmer in 2006 - it's sturdily built and has no signs of decay/rust. It doesn't take up much room in your grooming kit on holiday or on business; does the job well although can sometimes snag hairs. Overall, it's a great product. It came in a little plastic tube with a cap, which can be lost quite easily. I found that adding a drop of oil helps keep it moving just that little bit easier.

Merkur Nose Hair Trimmer
As with other Merkur products I have bought, you can feel the quality. Despite what other reviews say, breaking it down and cleaning it is hardly rocket science and the cutting action is clean and smooth. Being a mechanical product it does not achieve what an electrical based device could in terms of closeness of cut or speed. However in terms of its simplicity, portability and the end result I think it is a great little product, especially for the travel bag.

Quite nosey
What , a great little gadget, No more of the wife armed with the baby scissors and me worrying where they are coming to rest, And a grip like a vice, screaming" keep still unless you want me to spear you" Thank heavens that's over, And thanks a million Merkur a fab tool.

it works
I have tried scissors and electric trimmers but they were very unsatisfactory. By contrast this little tool is extremely simple and effective to use. Highly recommended.

Quite good
It's very small and very well made. It takes me a lot of twists to trim all the hairs but it works and it'll probably last longer than me.
