Good product

Applies easily and washes out really well. Buy just for the smell alone.

Excellent product

I have been using the product for 2 weeks now and have no complaints! Previously I used Toni & Guy wax stick which I thought was an excellent product; apart from how much hair it pulled out!! But now I'm getting older and my hair is deciding to leave me, I needed a more gentle product with an excellent hold. The finish is great and doesn't take an age to wash out. I would definitely recommend this product to people looking for a modern hair style that will get you noticed. Thumbs up!!!

not keen on the smell but good product

I use this regularly when my hair has grown a little longer as Fibre isn't good on anything but very short hair I find. I use Fibre when short and this when it has grown in a bit.I find absolutely no fault with this product other than the smell which I'm not in love with.

Favourite product to date

Decided to give this a try and overall, it's very nice product from LS&B. Unique smell (kind of reminds me of [Christmas] spices) which is a good change from the fruit/candy smells of everything else. Easy to apply and holds well. Unfortunately, it doesn't stand up to the wind (at least with my length hair - about 10mm), but does a much better job that the Fudge (Hair Shaper, Matte Hed) and Bedhead (Manipulator, Headbanger) I also have.

Good Product

I've used many high street clays and puttys over the years, which are either too thick or don't have enough hold. This however has a great hold and washes out really easily, even if you have quite thick hair. Hair just goes flat in wet/windy conditions tho. Overall, a very good product.

Works for me.

Was suprised at the texture of the product, softer then I imagined for a clay, didn't give the type of hold I expected was imaganing something firmer, but was pleased because it didn't rip half my scalp off like other clays I have used in the past, smells fantastic and in the end appreciated the reworkable hold which definatly suits my hair more.

Smells nice, but lacks elsewhere...

I tried this stuff based upon the reviews above. Having been a long term fan of American Crew Fiber, I have to say, that LS&B's Grooming Clay simply does not live up to the same standards. Don't get me wrong, if I wasn't already aware of American Crew Fiber, I would have rated this product 4 stars, but it simply has failed to live up to my high expectations. I have relatively short, choppy / spikey hair and have found this to leave my hair with a greasy finish, even after using just a minute amount. The strength of the product fails to deal with natural elements such as wind and rain. The sweet, long-lasting, candy floss smell of the product does stand in its favour, but at the end of the day, you are paying for it to make your hair look nice - you're not paying to have your hair smell nice. As a cheaper alternative to American Crew Fiber, I'd recommend this.

Good, not amazing

More like a thick, sticky paste than a matte clay, the finish is slightly greasy but the fragrance is fantastic.

Don't see what's so good about the smell - it's like old pot pouri with a hint of flash spray.
