Not a patch on competitors
Purchased this product after my oil control/anti-shine moisturiser of choice was discontinued (3rd one in as many years) forcing me to look for another alternative. Bought on recommendation with hopes that it would pick up where my last moisturiser left off, and bought in conjunction with the Lab Oil Control Solution. However, I am highly disappointed with how the product performs. It does very little to immediately reduce shine, and does little to nothing to control oil and shine throughout the day. By mid-morning my skin looked worse and more shiny than if I hadn't used any product at all!

Really good product. The smallest amount covers my forehead, absorbs immediately leaving it oil and shine free.

Great product!
I've been using this product for a couple of years now. Does exactly what it says - moisturises without leaving skin shiny. The only downside is that it doesn't have any sun protection built in. Definitely recommended, especially if you have blemish-prone skin.

Worth paying the extra
I used to get paranoid about getting an oily face by the end of the day. I traded up my daily moisturizer to Lab Series and it has made a huge difference.

Excellent
Another excellent product from Lab Series. I bought this a few days ago as my skin is starting to shine after a couple of hours with the warmer weather coming. It absorbs very quickly and gives a very matte finish - probably the most matte finish I've ever experienced in a moisturiser. It seems to be taking care of the drier areas of my face as well. So far so good, and I'll update this when I've been using it a little longer. -- update -- Still using this moisturiser (though not every day) and it's still an excellent product. It really does keep my face shine-free longer than *any* other moisturiser I've tried. -- update -- I have now stopped using this product. Not because it stopped performing, but because my skin has changed and I no longer get oily during the day. I partially attribute that to using the Lab Series Oil Control Face Wash!

The Best
I've tried every oil control moisturiser out there and always ended up with a shiny face by lunchtime. Not anymore, I'm on my 3rd tube. Thank you Lab Series.

Excellent product, but is it worth the price?
Excellent product. Leaves skin well moisturised on naturally drier patches (like cheeks), and moisturised but mattified and oil free on nose and forehead. However, it doesn't seem to be immediately noticeably better than an ordinary, off the supermarket shelf product, such as Garnier Pure A Moisturiser - which is less than a fifth of the price for the same amount (it's under a fiver, versus 25 pounds for this!). The real test I guess will come in a couple of weeks time - we'll see if blemishes are reduced and if my skin becomes naturally better at self regulating sebum production. This I think may be where the real Lab Series advantage lies (their Invigorating Face Scrub certainly has this longer term effect). But so far, whilst it's an excellent product, I'm unconvinced it's worth the massively higher price mark-up.

disappointed
For £25 you'd think this product would do something positive, well, I hope it's just me but this really didn't reduce oil production at all, it isn't even that good as a standalone moisturiser, very disappointed. Update: I have to say actually that having finished a tube now, and moving back to a Nivea lotion, this stuff is much much better and it is fair to say you get what you pay for. You won't get instant results with this though.
