Great hold - bad to wash out
At first I loved this hair product. A matte finish with superior hold!! Just what I needed! However, the HDF claymation is AWFUL to wash out. It might take 2-3 goes with shampoo to get this out! I'm buying some HDF shampoo to see if that shifts it, but I imagine the story will be much the same. It's a shame as it's one of my favourite hair products otherwise

Try together with quicksand
Claymation creates a super strong hold but it is not as matte and dry as Quicksand. It is also not the easiest to apply, as it is very sticky and needs to be warmed up quite a bit. Therefore I suggest you cocktail this one with Quicksand. The result is a very strong hold, a dry, matte finish and is easy to apply.

Disappointed
Disappointed is an under statement. After all the hype about this product online, and reading the reviews, I though 'Hey, here's a product that might actually hold my hair in place but still keep that matte finish I've been looking for!' But I was wrong. Granted, I do have very thick hair, but when I saw that this product is marketed at 'Super high hold' I thought I was in luck. Nope. I have used V05 products that have offered more hold than this. A simple turn of my head, and my hair falls out of place. I started with the small amount that hanz recommend you use, and soon realised that this is nowhere near enough. People have said that this product can last over two months, these people must have little to no hair, as I would be surprised if this product lasts a month. I would not recommend this product.
