My skin has never felt so clean and moisturised after washing.

Very Good

Tried and tested on my hyper-sensitive, prone to redness skin with great results. It rinses away easily, it's non-drying, has a subtle citrus smell, and you only need a small quantity. Recommended.

Looks odd. Feels odd. Possibly even smells odd. Really doesn't matter though because this is easily the best cleanser I have found for sensitive skin...!

Great cleanser

Having used the ZIRH Clean Facial Wash and dried my skin out with the AHAs, it was time for a better product. This small tube lasts for ages, but make sure to take the cap off and really squeeze the last week's worth out. Leaves skin feeling noticeably cleaner without stripping it, and when used in conjunction with Anthony toner and the Oil-Free Facial Lotion, is a winning combination.

So many times have I bought cleansers that leave a residue or film on the skin, but this cleanses and rinses off great.

Good cleanser

This is the first facial cleanser I've tried, but I found this to be very gentle on my dry skin and does a good job of removing dirt.

Ok... but not worth the money

I agree with other reviewers, you do only need a small amount, smells nice and is extremely gentle on dry skin. But as for deep cleansing... I just don't feel or see it. Leaves my skin looking dull and lifeless. To me it does nothing that a much cheaper brand couldn't do.

Nice but not effective

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

You can't have your cake and eat it.... but at twenty quid a bottle you should expect a nice wash that cleanses effectively. Whilst the Algae wash is lovely to use and smells great, it doesn't degrease the skin and clear crud very well at all. Compared to other washes this really is quite poor. Lab Series Multi Action is a much better product in terms of results, as is Zirh Clean, but neither are as nice to apply or as indulgent to use. Menscience's Daily Wash remains (in my opinion) the best face wash in terms of results and pleasure of use. I am 26 with normal/combination skin, am in the armed forces so am outside in harsh environments, do stacks of phys (heavy sweat!), and usually use a sunscreen. I therefore opt for a product that can thoroughly clean without drying out my skin. The Algae wash simply is not up to the job. It may suit others and it is very nice to use, but i won't be buying again.
