Brilliant - American Crew Fiber
This is one of the few products that can hold my short thick hair where I want it for a whole day, even after putting hats on. Worth spending the little extra and it goes a long way.

Quite simply the best hair styling product available. If you have short/medium hair and want a choppy, textured look with no shine then look no further. Smells great, lasts for ages and washes out easily. Buy it.

Strong holding with no shine
At first I was reluctant to pay any more than a couple of quid for any hair styling product. Having taken the plunge I can say American Crew Fiber is without doubt the best styling product I've used in the 15 years since I first used hair gel. With only a small fingertip amount it holds hair strong, and without that horrible wet greasy look that so many other products seem to have. The best part is it washes out without leaving any residue. Worth every penny.
