This product is great to begin with. Requires quite an amount to hold the hair up, although the holding strength isnt that strong, applying more will help to hold your hair. It does not give the glossy feel pomades give so its wonderful. On a side note, your hand will feel oily after using it so you might need to wash your hands thoroughly (and your hair during shower).

Poor quality
Bought this product last week as I saw a few celebs that are suppose to use it, I wasn't impressed at all I think if you have shorter hair it might be OK but I've got medium length thick hair and it just doesn't do anything for me. I now don't use wax I only use the volumising or textured powder with a bit of hair spray gives you such a better finish and hold.

Decent product
I bought the american crew shampoo and conditioner and thought I might as well add a styling product to it since everybody keeps talking good about them. I must admit I am new to all of the different styling products out there, and didn't actually know which one was suited for my hair and so randomly picked the paste. I thought the smell could have been much better but overall the paste does a good job as a styling product.
