easy to waste, little satisfaction
Way WAY too much of the powder pours out so easily when trying to sprinkle it, that you end up wasting loads of it and too much can sprinkle onto one spot of your hair when it unexpectedly pours out too much. While once you manage to distribute a decent amount throughout your hair evenly (if you actually manage as it is difficult and awkward to apply) it can create a thicker feel and look, it is not a desired soft touch and your hair looks more on the side of if you have a styling product in it as oppose to a preferable pre-styler and doesn't give it a particularly natural look. Whilst some may find a way to use this product in a way that suits them, im sorry but it is a big disappointment for me.

There are better boost powders...
I don't like the shape of the bottle, it makes it quite hard to manage. Also I feel like the powder doesn't give me as much as a boost as other powders that I've tried.

Observed significant volume boost before applying the finishing product (wax/clay/pomade/etc,). Packaging can be improved so using the powder is more convenient (pump) so the powder reaches the scalp directly.

Boosting powder
Great product I was introduced to by my hairdresser. A small dusting of this and then style in with a tiny amount of Matt paste. Leaves your hair feeling and looking styled but with the look of tonnes of products in it.

Such a great hair product!!
The American Crew Boost Powder really works wonders! I was amazed when I used it for the first time. My hair is dead straight and would usually need a strong clay to hold my hair and even then it tends to loose its form. With the boost powder my hair stays exactly how I place it and I can style it how I want. The best thing is that I can change the style throughout the day if I want and that unlike with wax or clay, one gets a natural high look and not shiny or a gel look. This product is simply amazing!

I have used Crew Boost Powder for some months and find it very effective at boosting my thinning hair, it's very un-obtrusive and effective at adding a bit of weight and thickness to the relavent areas. I'm not one to try every gimmicky position that comes on the market but I can really recommend Boost Powder to anyone with thinning hair.
