Didn't do it for me...

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I used this in combination with the Aesop Hydrating serum but I found it a little too greasy and not as easily absorbed as other expensive moisturisers I've used. In addition I did find it caused me to breakout in spots. Obviously it works for some other guys on here but it didn't work for me. I would say though that I can't see why it's not value for money - it is a large pot that would probably have lasted a good 6 months!

Excellent all-purpose moisturiser

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is a medium-weight moisturiser that will enable you to use it on top of either your favourite serum or on it's own, when required. Although it can appear 'shiny' if you don't massage it in to your skin, it leaves a matt finish and will result in your skin feeling superb. The only negative is that you don't get a great deal for your money, so the advice is to use on a morning, keep your face oil or night cream for overnight use.

No fables

A chock-a-block of richness and botanical bliss. Aesop is the very antithesis of bling-bling - luxury with heart and purpose.

It really is that good

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have been trying to find a moisturiser like this for years. I had almost given up hope. I have been using this for just one month and I can already say that I will categorically never be using another product. Yes, it feels and smells great. But the overarching point about this product is that it is good for your skin. My face feels enriched and glowing and I have had zero blemishes since using it.

Nice

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Wasn't entirely sure what to make of this product - it seemed expensive, but I was reassured by the positive reviews, and besides, for £26.50, you get a pot the size of France, making it surprisingly good value...It is wonderful stuff. I found the smell surprising, not unpleasant, but unexpected - after a few uses I decided it was rather lovely. The product is applied very easily - it doesn't stick in clumps but skims evenly, and is absorbed very fast. Only a small amount on the tip of the finger is enough to cover the face and neck, making it economical as well as luxurious. I must confess, I've noticed an improvement in my skin's condition since using this product, the dry areas of my face are much less so, whilst I seem to have many, many fewer spots, although this may also be attributable to the biotherm cleanser I bought at the same time...Enough rambling. It's a lovely product, buy without hesitation. It's much nicer, and like for like, considerably cheaper than the stuff you'll find in the supermarket.
