Liquorice Root - Extracted from Liquorice Root. Contains Glycyrrhizic Acid, which acts as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Helps to even-skin tone..
Lactic Acid - Noted for its ability to exfoliate the skin without provoking irritation. This ingredient works by dissolving dry and damaged surface skin cells, improving the texture of the skin and making it softer and smoother. Build-up of skin cells in the pores is also minimised.
Blackcurrant Seed Oil - A rapidly absorbed oil and rich source of Linoleic acid, gamma-Linoleic acid and Stearidonic acid. Anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and deeply hydrating. Soothes and softens tired or irritated skin.

Better than expectation
First time trying out aesop product and am really surprise how good it is to my skin. The cleanser has been very gentle to my skin which is partial oil, partial dry. Now my skin feel moist and no more drying after using cleanser. And i feel so happy to use it everyday

I put it in a muss bottle to make foam, ALL other cleansers did a good job including my first buy with Aesop fabulous cleanser but not this. The foam CAN'T wash out. Others take just one flush, but this takes at least 3 washes with rubbing the face, and still can't wash that out. SO DISAPPOINTING

Absolutely love this product. Tried a sample at first, pairing with [Tea Tree Leaf Facial Exfoliant], left the cleanser on my face a while then massaging in with the exfoliant. My skin instantly felt so soft after. The lactic acide in the cleanser is definitely working in dissolving dry patches and giving a good exfoliation.
