The Aesop Amazing Face Cleanser is a very gentle cleanser designed to soothe the skin. Other cleansers that create too much foam and are used with hot water are not great options for skin that is oily. This gel only foams very lightly and should only be used with cooler water to maximise the soothing effect. Packed with plant actives, this cleanser will refresh the skin and help to keep it balanced. You only need to use a small amount of the Aesop Amazing Face Cleanser to shift any excess oil and the dirt of the day. This product contains lavender, ylang ylang and tangerine.

Brilliant
This product is something I have been using for the past 6 months and have not looked back ever since. I have quite sensitive skin prone to breakouts and this really helps balance my skin, it doesn't feel like it's stripping my skin of all its moisture neither is it adding to it. The smell is of course amazing, given the reputation of all things Aesop, and a little really goes a long way. The bottle also lasts me for a long time despite the initial hefty price tag.

Great Face Wash
Has a good cleansing and mat tidying result without drying the skin. Expensive but lasts for ages as a little goes a long way.

Good...and bad...
Ok - the good news is that whilst expensive this (along with the wider skin care range) product really is excellent. I have tried pretty much all there is to try over the years and initially passed Aesop by; largely due to price. Having now shelled out a good lump on a lot of the products, I am more than mildly irritated by the fact that everything comes in a glass bottle/jar. Stylish, yes; practical...in a wet, tiled bathroom...nope! I just fail to see what the manufacturer is looking to achieve. Wet hands plus glass jars and hard floors spells expensive accident - worse if you factor in the kids running about in this family bathroom. I have seen others post similar reviews and I can honestly say this is the first time I have done this...but it needs sorting to keep me buying, for one.

A good hard working cleanser that is not harsh on the skin, good if you have combination skin. Not a big fan of the bottles, would be good if came with a pump dispenser, pouring out of the bottle directly can be wasteful at times. Overall, great product, and would recommend using this product with the whole Aesop range.
