By far and away my favourite hair styling product. Holds without looking rigid with a great matt finish. Washes out easily and a little goes a long way. Great recent offer so I've stocked up!!

Brilliant: firm, long-lasting hold but light weight at the same time. A tub lasts for months too, so it's well worth the money.

I've been looking for a product that gives firm hold whilst still leaving the hair looking natural and this fits the bill perfectly. It gives a string hold without leaving your hair look like you've got a whole tub of product in it.

Why do companies do this? The old formulae was the best styling past on the market and I'd been using it for 3-4 years, but the new formulae is just a shambles as it has no hold and is too wet when applying to your hair.

I find this very greasy and it just does not dry. It’s there the whole day and makes my hair shiny and it gives an unwashed look. I also don’t like the fragrance – quite awful and persistent. Although it is supposed to 'to give a superb hold, separation and matt finish' I think it's far from this. A quick look on the list of ingredients and I think I should really toss this in the trash.

I've been using Muscle Fibre Paste for years and it's great when the quality of the product is as expected, that is, a firm and dry paste that delivers a strong hold with added body that lasts all day with a very matte finish. But the main problem over the years is the massive inconsistency from one batch to another. I ordered in Feb 15 and that batch was fantastic, exactly as you would expect. I just received a new order and a different batch and it's terrible as it's a very thin, light and wet creamy texture, and when you rub it in your hands its like there are tiny bits of sand and grit in the product. It also applies wet to your hair no matter how much you emulsify it, which then makes styling difficult and the texture doesn't add body to your hair. Very unhappy.

I have short thick hair that to be honest I can't do much with apart from spike up the fringe a bit and this did the job without the shiny greasy finish. However when rubbing in the palm of your hands or trying to apply it a small amount gathers into tiny pieces that you can't break down or you end up trying to pick them out afterwords. Nor ideal. Will be trying something else next time.

This is definitely the best hair product I have bought so far. It holds perfectly, but does not make your hair look dirty or sticky. Completely agree with the previous reviews.

Brilliant hold and natural finish so no greasy looking hair. Lasts all day without fail and especially good for when you are growing your hair. Best styling product I've bought in years.
