Very disappointing
After looking at all the hype about this product I finally decided to part with my hard earned cash and give Hairbond Shaper a go. For something as pricey as this I was expecting it to be very close as described. On arrival, the packaging is awesome, real bling to the jar and the smell is one of the best out there, think sticky toffee pudding. Unfortunately the product itself is a real let down. For something with a 5 star hold factor it is anything but. It's light creamy consistency goes nowhere near the claim of strong hold. I think Hairbond Shaper is all about the marketing, you'll try it once but if ain't working you won't go back. I'm going to stick with byVilain. Hairbond Shaper = Big disappointment.

good but not great
Like another reviewer I expected this to be a more hardcore version of the black moulder but it doesn't have as much hold despite having the 5/5 rating. It's also not as matte as as the green and the black versions.

Fantastic product, gives good shape all day long. doesn't look greasy and a great smell. Fine on damp hair so great to use after the gym!

Longtime daily choice
This shaper is certainly a good product that has been a staple in my hairstyling routine since I bought it. It adds great texture, good hold and feels very conditioning in your hair. The hold does not impress me, but it is good enough for more timid styles. Although this is not important for styling, the smell is absolutely incredible. It packs a bit of shine, but is still fairly matte. I also think it makes me hair look slightly lighter, which I also like. One downside is the packaging. It comes in an unnecessarily large container, which takes up far too much space in my wash bag when traveling. This could easily be fixed since there isn't that much product in the container to begin with. All in all, this is a great product that should suit most styles and hair types.

Great product, please stop using yodel
This is a great product, don't think I'll ever use anything different. I do wish mankind wouldn't use yodel to deliver though,c they really over complicated everything, and have my package to someone else without letting me know, the product is great but yodel are just the worst.

Disappointed | The Hairbond Moulder remains my favorite
I am a big fan of the Hairbond Moulder which has a 4/5 hold strength. When I saw that this one has a 5/5, I thought that I really have to try it. In the end, I was disappointed by this toffee. I think it adds a lot of grease to the hair. However, I know that some guys actually want this look so I don't think they will be disappointed by this. I have medium hair-pompadour style and this just doesn't work for me. Yes it will make my hair shiny, yes it has a good hold but it also makes it look greasy and it gives an unwashed touch which I don't like. However, I noticed that if I use a tiny amount on wet hair and then blow dry it, it adds a more matte finish to the hair. I think I will have the jar for a very long time. Unlike the moulder, this is paraben-free and the smell is quite nice. However, the Hairbond Moulder remains my favourite.

Simply put this hair shaper is amazing, it has an excellent workable hold, non greasy and washes out easily. I have slightly longer thick hair and struggled to find a hair product with good hold until I tried hairbond, the only downside I can see for some would be the smell as it is very sweet but for me its not an issue.
