Solved my problem

For small introduction I'm 43, over 20 years of shaving. Oily, acne prone skin. I shave every two days and always had problems with my neck area, with lots of ingrown hairs and lower lip and mouth corner areas with ingrown and small white spots. Bottle comes with a pump for dosage, but I don't need a full one, specially on second day - you have to use it every day for it to work. It's a bit to the expensive dude, but it works and lasts for quite some time. I'm already on my second bottle now and really happy with the results, as I can now show a proper shave.

Irritates my skin

I purchased GBP 150 worth of products from Anthony, including this one. I have normal but mildly sensitive skin. During the colder seasons, my skin tends to get very dry. I purchased this product along with the pre-shave oil hoping it would improve my shaving routine. The text on the bottle of this product states it soothes the skin and prevents razor burn. However, when I apply this product, I get a burning sensation that reminds me of putting on traditional after shave. The bottle does not state the product contains alcohol but it sure feels like it. How this is suppose to soothe the skin is beyond me. The affect on hair growth is negligible to none. I feel this product is overpriced and the results are mediocre. I would not recommend it and would return it, if I could.

Surprisingly good

I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and I must say this product delivers. When I first used it I had three ingrown hairs in the same area of the neck, one of which broke through the skin right in a matter of seconds. The other 2 were buried deeper, so it took me about a week to get rid of them but I don't have any marks or redness now. I usually apply this gel at night, several hours after shaving in the morning, and I haven't seen a single new ingrown hair since I started using it. It also smells quite nice and doesn't sting half as much as for example Tend Skin does.
