Glycolic Facial Cleanser 237ml

I bought this to replace the old 'soap and water'. I work a lot of hours and sweat quite a lot through the day so my face is usually a right state, this stuff is really good for about the first 8 hours of the day and then I find the excess sebum coming back, although, certainly not as much as it used to! It leaves your skin feeling really refreshed without appearing to do much on application and the smell is inoffensive so nearly a 5 star from me but not quite!

Pro's: Smells really nice Gentle Good ingredients Cons: Too gentle for me, I have oily skin Label comes off when wet Doesn't lather at all Overall I think this cleanser might be nice for people who have normal skin. But for people that need more of a deep cleansing I wouldn't recommend this.

Excellent

Really like this product and would recommend it. It meets all the high expectations of product effectiveness from Anthony. It smells nice on the face, lathers well, and works effectively to remove excess oil and clean the face.

What is it?

This might clean your face well, but its not a great experience. The smell is lame, and you might as well be washing your face with water is what it feels like. Also the print on the bottle annoyingly rubs off onto your fingers after a while.

Excellent Cleanser

I love this cleanser, I quite liked the nice citrus fragrance. But I loved how it made my skin look and feel, the texture of my skin was smoother and softer. I csn see why this is a bestseller.

It's OK...

This cleanser is just OK..the best thing is that it's nice and gentle on the skin especially as it's glycolic acid based, it smells good enough to eat but it just doesn't keep my skin oil free for long - which is the main benefit I look for in a cleanser. Most other cleansers I have used although a little more expensive are much better at keeping my skin oil free for longer.

This was the first cleanser I tried. After a few months use I switched to Ole Henriksen Aloe Vera Deep Cleanser which I was initially impressed with, but after a few months it seemed to cause dryness. I'm now back to Anthony and have to a stable oil-free complexion again.

Brilliant

Ive used this product for over a week and already noticing the difference. From having sensitive skin i thought this was a bit risky, however it works wonders. Great product for getting rid of spots. Will be buying it again when i run out.

Amazing stuff

I am really impressed with this cleanser it is very gentle and does not irritate my skin and most importantly cleanses without giving that tight skin sensation afterwards.

I've been using this product for a while now. It's nothing short of superb. Cleans the face without being too harsh. My face is oil and blemish free.

Doesn't leave skin feeling dry - can be used twice daily with no problem. Good at removing blackheads. Highly recommended.

AWESOME Product

It doesn't foam, and it does smell like fruit juice. Get over it! Aside from these minor niggles, which I count as pro's, this cleanser works wonders on your skin. All the other reviews refer to squeaky clean skin because that's exactly what this product delivers, without leaving you with dry, tight or aggravated skin. I've been using this for two weeks now and I can't get over the dramatic improvement. I can't believe I ever used Zirh's Clean. This cleanser rocks ( in a very sophisticated way )!

Best I've used

After using this for only 1 week my skin looks and feels great, far better than it normally would. Lovely smell when you first apply it. It doesn't foam-up but so what.

BEST FACIAL PRODUCT

I suffer from dry skin and this product DOESN'T foam, absolutely brilliant and makes the face squeaky clean!

This product is one of the best cleansers I have tried, it smells like fruit juice unfortunately though, but it seems to do the job well. Highly recommended.

I love this!

You don't think it's doing much initially as it doesn't foam. But when you rinse your face with warm water.... squeak! Amazingly clean feeling skin, without the drying or tightness that other facial washes can bring. Has a fairly sweet fruity orange scent too which I love. This is my new Number 1 face wash!

Just started using this stuff and it does what is says on the tin. Really useful if you have oily skin like myself. Will definitely buy again.

Use this, forget the mirror

What a product. It works and keeps on working then works some more.

Mixed bag

This cleanser gives me mixed emotions - the actual washing is unsatisfying, with the runny consistency making it one of the strangest cleansers I've used. However, it's incredibly gentle and it leaves my skin squeaky clean and a lot less dry than the Zirh product did. Results matter, 5 stars!

Very refreshing

Very light on skin, quickly absorbed and leaves a non-sticky refreshed feeling to start and end the day with. It also smells great.

Fantastic

When I first started using this it was just at night to remove dirt, but recently I've found it has many other uses. In the morning I often get really dry skin, and I don't like putting moisturiser on that often, especially when it leaves an oily residue. But I just apply some of this toner using a cotton wool pad and it takes away all the dryness! It smells great too, and gives your face a fresh appearance. Really really recommended.

Smells Like Southern Comfort

...It does! And it works great as a cleanser too! Leaves your skin feeling very clean and smooth. Great stuff.

Very nice, less harsh than Clinique, very beneficial with a decent non-drying face cleanser, and half decent moisturiser.

Amazing..

Was quite sceptical when i first used this wash. It doesnt do much when you use it but rest assured this wash does wonders. Smells great and most importantly doesnt leave my face horribly dry but comfortable and as it says on the bottle squeeky clean.

Brilliant

Great product. Does exactly as it says on the bottle. I have used it daily for 3 months now and it is still 1/3 full. Fine lines seem reduced. I will definitely buy again.

Gentle but Effective

Excellent for dry and sensitive skin, with a refreshing orange scent. Really leaves skin feeling and looking thoroughly cleansed without the dryness and tightness that comes from harsher cleansers.

Fantastic product

Best cleanser I've ever used, I suffer from oily skin and it's the first time I've used a cleanser that doesn't leave a tight feeling. After use skin feels squeaky clean.

Weird but good

Really refreshing soothing face wash. Doesn't foam, which takes getting used to, but leaves you feeling fresh and smells slightly like sherbet.

A toner that doesn't strip!

Finally a gentle toner that cleanses without leaving the skin stripped bare. Although the initial outlay is expensive, this has lasted a lot longer than another, well known American men's grooming range.

So far...so good!

Only had the product a short while, but the results so far have been very good. Would recommend and will buy again in the future.

This stuff works!

I tend to prefer cleansers that foam, so it took a little time to get used to this one since it doesn't foam at all. But it's really effective stuff! It must have quite a high glycolic acid content, because it really exfoliates and softens the skin. I really feel like this product is doing something after just the first use. Nice, mild scent. Great product.

Gentle

I use this along with the Anthony cleanser and really enjoy it. Doesn't dry your face out like the teenage spot cleaners. I follow the toner with Anthony Oil-Free Facial Lotion just to help the skin.

Excellent

This is an excellent face wash. It doesn't foam which takes a little getting used to, and I do tend to go through it quite quickly (which I think is because it doesn't foam), but it is worth every penny. I am using prescription Retin-A and was having to deal with mild flaking. When I started using the Anthony Glycolic the flaking disappeared within a couple of days.
-- update -- 6 weeks on and still loving this cleanser. It really does clean very well and I'm finding it to be one of the mildest cleansers I've tried.

AMAZING!!...definitely will buy more. After a week's use you definitely see results, skin looks great !!!!...PS. Just dont use straight after shaving , ouch ! lol

Best wash I've used so far

For a fragrance-free product this smells incredible, and it cleanses your face thoroughly without drying. Although it doesn't deep-cleanse quite as well as some. It is an absolute pleasure to use.Have yet to find a better face wash.
