Good soap
I've used normal bog-standard shaving soaps for a while. I'm glad I changed to Trumpers. Using a cutthroat razor I have to be pretty careful so I generally soap up portions of my face as I shave them, with this stuff that's not a worry and the soap lasts quite a while. Overall a very good choice. Only downside is it doesn't fit into my present soap bowl.

Sandalwood Hard Shaving Soap Refill
Although this Sandalwood Hard Shaving Soap Refill is a great product, I've always used the GFT shave creams as opposed to soaps, which I think I prefer. Soaps don't leave my skin feeling as soft, and are harder to lather. Out of the creams I'd recommend either Eucris or GFT. I want to see a Bay Rum cream some day, as well as a Bay Rum shower gel! The cologne is brilliant!
