Thought it may have been a special honing material but it wa just rubber. Save your money and use some old denim.

IT WORKS
Being someone who remembers blades without the fancy so called lubricating strips and having coarse stubble this works believe me if it doesn't work for you then I suggest your not doing it right I have spent a fortune over the years on different razors pre-shave products and some of them were very expensive and nothing worked until I got this little gem I even managed a clean and yes painless shave with nothing more than a normal bar of soap and have even sharpened old blades that were lying around for years so top marks from me a great product which pays for itself many times over

After being given one as a gift I bought this Razorpit Razor Blade Sharpener as a gift. I have been using this product for 6 weeks and have used it on a 3 week old, at the time, blade. It is still working its magic on the now 9 week old blade. If this carries on it will save a lot of cash over a year. Great product at a good price. Thanks.

Works a treat
I started using this Razor Blade Sharpener on a blade that had already been used a few times. The sharpener kept it going for two further weeks. I think it will save me a fortune on blades. I would recommend it to anyone.

Dont be skeptical it works, it feels like you have a new blade each time you shave. I use fusion proglide blades so a good way to save for me this is a most have if you wet shave or body shave yes recommended

Not That Good
Have to say I am disappointed with this Razor Blade Sharpener. As with some of the other reviews when you use it with a Gillette blade it strips off the soothing strip and this causes more problems than it solves as you then find the blades don't move across the contours of your face as well and it becomes a jagged shave. As mentioned in other reviews it doesn't sharpen blades but cleans them and I have to say I haven't noticed a massive difference at all and certainly not getting anywhere near 150 shaves from a blade. Think carefully before bothering with this is my advice.

Estava um pouco reticente em comprar este produto mas depois de o experimentar, fiquei agradavelmente surpreendido. Duvido que afie as lâminas como anunciado mas, pelo menos, deixa-as limpas o que favorece o corte. Recomendo vivamente!
