Healthy Facial Wash 100ml

Not bad

I bought this based on the reviews. It's okay, quite a cute handy sized bottle. I've found that its not quite up to scratch for my oily skin type. I need to use more than the recommended amount although living in a very hard water area doesn't help! The frangrance is nice, not too strong, but it doesn't leave my face feeling particularly refreshed or clean - I still need to use a scruffing lotion if I want a completely oil-free face, but remember, I have quite oily skin, so for normal skin types it will be fine. Overall, its quite good value for money, although I don't think it can perform any better than any regular high street/supermarket face wash. My preference remains with Zirh or Kiehl's.

A fresh face!

My face feels smooth, clean and smells great. Even got told my skin looked amazing, whether that was a coincidence it happened a week after using the product or not, I don't care as I feel the product is worth it and will be buying other products from 'mankind' in the future!

Amazing.

This Facewash is amazing. I use this product twice a day and it leaves my skin feeling moisturisesd. A really nice fragrance is in the face wash making it really nice to use. A handy pump on the top is great as u know how much your putting on and you can use a sensible amount. Really recommend using this face wash.

Good product to use daily, a bit pricey but a little goes along way.

Men-U - great stuff

The men-u wash for the price you pay for how long it lasts and the sheer quality makes this possibly the best stuff out there, if I had to choose only face wash this would be it. You won't go far wrong with this as a gift or yourself, for a little bottle it packs a big punch.

Good product

A free sample of this product came with some other purchases I'd made from Mankind. It immediately impressed, you only need the tiniest amount of product to get the job done, and the formula is really effective. The tea tree gives your face a nice numbness as it is applied, letting you know the product is really sinking in. The free sample was only 15ml yet lasted for over a couple of months. As soon as I came low I knew I had to get some more. The stuff really does help, I've noticed less spots and my skin looks a lot cleaner. As with all men-u products the packaging really impresses, very sturdy casing leaving me in no doubt I could take it anywhere but there main selling point has to be the concentrations they use. A tiny dose of this really does lather up incredibly well and this one bottle will easily last 7 months on half pumps, so excellent pricing for the amount you get. Great service from mankind, the product was cheap and arrived quickly in a well wrapped up package with good customer service letting you know when and where you packages are, overall great product.

Good but smell...

The package and product is a great bargain, but seems that nobody has complained the smell - it is a bit like bad cellar smell to me. However, I like product because it produces very small bubbles to clean effectively.

Disappointing

After reading all the positive reviews on here I was looking forward to this - disappointed to say the least. It's an ok face wash, but I found it very drying and had to apply a LOT of the Men-U moisturiser to get rid of that tight feeling. Wouldn't buy again.

The one for me

Have tried quite a few face washes (Zirh, Phytomer, Baxter) and this definitely is the one for me. Really suits my skin and the best thing is it's one of the cheapest!

Excellent product

This stuff is really impressive. It smells great, leaves skin really clean, feels good on sensitive skin, lasts for ages and is really cheap. Also the bottle is compact and locks tightly closed so its great for regular travelling.

I've been using this for years. Still cant find anything better and am amazed at how bad the competition is.

Amazing

Fantastic value for money like most men u products I have tried. One squirt is enough to get a good lather and cleanse whole face. Can leave face a bit dry so use with moisturiser. I wouldn't use any other facial wash!

Size does not matter after all.

This product is great, easy to use the pump action brilliant, as it gives out the amount you need. It comes to show size does not matter, after all, small is just as good. It does leave my skin dry after use, but a good moisturiser makes it even then.

I cant believe it's so cheap! It does the job and lasts for ages. A superb product.

Excellent wash for excellent value

This is probably the best product I've purchased from Mankind so far. One pump is sufficient for a decent lather for your face and neck, and after a month I have used about a 1/3 of the bottle - not bad at all. Thinking about it, my skin probably hasn't been quite as spotty as it can be since I started using this product. The high volume of tea-tree oil may well contribute to this. It may leave some people's skin a little dry so a moisturiser is recommended. I can't pick any faults with this product hence 5 stars. The price is justified due to the concentrated element and it gives an excellent wash. The only thing that might beat this one is Zihr 'Clean'. I've had a sample of this which I used for two washes recently. My pores appeared noticably cleaner but it did leave my skin a little red after the first wash. The Men:U wash however does not though, and seems suited even to sensitive skin.

Great value

Has kept my sensitive combination skin clear. Like everything else I use I'm sure I'll be tempted to try a more expensive product at some stage but have a feeling this will remain staple of my routine for years.

I love this stuff!

Simply the best face wash EVER. Don't be fooled by the tiny bottle (which is perfect for travelling with by the way), this stuff will last you for ages (not matter how often you think you wash your face!). It smells great, leaves you feeling clean and fresh. There's no lather with it, so it doesn't dry the skin out like soaps can do. No problems on my sensitive skin either.

This is a great product - very cheap, very effective, plenty of tea tree oil to degrease skin. The pump dispenser is fantastic. Only a tiny amount is used so it lasts ages.

Awesome

Another superb ultra-concentrated product from the men-u range, which lives up to their slogan 'Performance Matters'. Leaves your skin feeling cleansed and refreshed without drying it out. I've tried the other more expensive facial washes available on this site and this is by far the best. Great value for money as a bottle lasts ages!

Great Results

Lasts a long time but I got great results with it. Skin was clearer especially when used with shaving. Like others I used so many products before this one and can't believe what value I was missing.

Not bad

Good stuff, but I've just tried a sample of the Kiehl's face wash. That's made my next purchase a bit more of a difficult choice.

Very effective

This is a great face wash... does the job, low foaming with a brilliant 'lockable' dispenser to stop it leaking in transit. Other manufacturers could learn a thing or two here Zirh, I'm talking to you!). Only reason I didn't give it 5/5 is I personally don't care much for the smell.. a bit medicinal (mostly down to the tea tree oil). Highly recommended!

Great design

Firstly, I have to say that the bottle design beats all others that I have seen/used. I am not quiet so sure that I buy into the 'ultra' concept of concentrated products needing minimal amounts as I don't find that this lathers up to well. In fact, I end up needing several squirts of it. It is certainly strong enough and cleans well for my somewhat oily skin, but if it lathered better I could use a lot less. I do live in a hard water area but other products cope. It is, as some have noted, a little strong so perhaps it would be a good idea to have a milder alternative depending on how much you envisage using it and to mix things up a bit? I would probably buy it again as I think it will last despite my reservations and represents good value. I might also look at Korres and MB if they compare price-wise, though. Consider my true rating a 4 pending a 4.5 stars.

Great Value and Great Product

Not quite as good as Phytomer which is perfect for me but for this price its a worthy addition to any mans skin supplies. If your on a budget this is something worthy of a try as it would save you a fortune. It did dry my skin out slightly but far better than many of the more expensive products I've tried in the past.

Brilliant!!!!!

REALLY GOOD value for money. Only a small amount needed. Effective, Nice smell, Low foaming, and didn't leave my face dry at all. WILL USE AGAIN.

This product is great value, you cannot deny that, and for a daily cleanse it is useful.

Good value for money

This lasts for ages, works and is good value for money. Menthol is a bit strong, makes my eyes water as does the ingredients list.

Good - Too Dry

Good face wash, also calms down razor burn. Problem is large amount of tea tree oil leaves face dry and flaky. Good moisturiser needed

Does not do what it says on the tin

So many glowing reviews here so I decided to give it a go. This product does not agree with my skin though. It made my skin break out. I'm going back to my usual REN cleanser (REN Rosa Centifolia Facial Wash).
