Good but not great
Ive been using Lab Series for years now and love it, but until recently have never used this particular product. Whilst it does give a good close shave, it takes a lot of the product to cover your stubble, so the tub didn't last very long as I shave at least once a day. I also prefer a shave cream that you can use with a shaving brush, and I naively thought I could with this. But you can't. It doesn't lather at all. I still love Lab Series, however I doubt if I'll buy this particular line again.

Maximum comfort, really? I had to use a large amount just to cover my stubble. It didn't lather up at all and the tub only lasted 10 shaves! As for maximum comfort, I don't think actually feeling the razor is maximum comfort. If your after dry, tight rashy skin, the is the product for you. Waste of money and for the same price, or even cheaper for that matter, that are loads of other products out there that won't do any harm.

THE BEST
In my experience this is the best shaving cream, especially for thick beards. I have tried many others including ZIRH and CLINIQUE but I like this one more. It allows friction-free close shaves with minimal irritation afterwards.

Best shaving cream I've used
I've been using Clinique's shaving cream for the past 3 years but recently bought some of this on a trip to the States after being advised to by a Lab Series skin care professional. Well, he was right, it's fantastic stuff. It might just be me but it seems to very slightly numb the skin, which for me leads to a more pleasant and closer shave with less irritation.The only downer is that I bought a large tub of it that works out cheaper than the tube package.

Best shave ever
Prob the best shaving cream I've ever used. Use after Lab Series Scrub and with warm, running water. Skins feels baby soft after without any razor burn or irritation.

The best shaving product ever!!
Like other reviewers, I discovered this in the United States. The first time I tried it, I was surprised it didn't lather - but that's the point. You don't need much of this product and you can see exactly what you are doing when you shave - i.e. there isn't a load of foam obstructing the view! I have sensitive skin and had tried everything until I discovered this product.You will never use any other shaving cream/foam again. This is the best there is and, luckily, it lasts for ages!

Very smooth shave
I use this with a mach 3 and a shaving brush, and it gives a lovely, close shave, and doesn't dry the skin

WOW
I hardly use to wet shave before for the only reason that wet shave would irritate me SO much. I tried the Clinique shaving cream, which was good, but I couldn't wet shave all the time, so I only used it on special occasions. Went to the States, was recommended this product AND WOW! I haven't used my electric shaver since! Honestly, if you have given up hope for a comfortable shave that doesn't irritate after, get this product before you give up all together. Tip: use the multi-action face wash to prep and follow the shave with the ultra razor burn relief, no redness all day long!

Good Job, even better when used with
I find Lab Series products either hit or miss. And this was a hit for me. Does an excellent job, however, couple with Hugo Boss's after shave balm, I couldn't be happier.
