Finally. A Balm that works!
5I had been happily using Dermalogica's balm for a few years with no razor burn or bumps until out of the blue they stopped making it. I tried a few different balms, Clinique and another one, can't remember the names and they weren't up to the job. This from Lab Series however is the real deal, I've been using it for 2 weeks now, applying it day and night on the days I shave and my bumps have cleared up and I haven't had any razor burn! I'm using it in conjunction with Jack Black's supreme shaving cream, which I whip up into lather with a shaving brush which I've never used before. I've also been using a Dermalogica facial scrub on my neck at least once a week to remove dead skin cells.

Smooth as she comes
5I have been using Triple Benefit Post Shave Remedy for some time now, and found it to be very good in promoting electric shaving. I ran out some months ago and did not use it for several months, but once I had replenished, the shaves improved no end and felt very smooth afterwards. I recommend this product if you use an electric razor.

Works well and isn't shiny
5Cheapest post shave from Lab Series but works as well as the expensive stuff and isn't shiny. Always cut the container open with scissors when empty because there is still a lot which won't squeeze out.

Decent product
4Good, workhorse gel cream. Appears to slow stubble growth as claimed. Also good cooling and redness relief. Joins another Lab Series product as one of my staples.

Superior to the rest
5I have a very sensitive skin and used to loathe shaving due to razor burn and rash. As a result I could only shave maximum twice weekly to prevent blood spots on my white shirts first thing in the morning. Thanks to this post shave remedy I am now always clean shaved with a smooth skin and much less irritation that ever before.

Excellent as usual
5Like most of the Lab Series range that I've tried, this product does exactly what they claim. My skin feels very comfortable after applying this, irritation from shaving disappears within a few minutes and my beard growth has definitely slowed down! -- update -- The tube lasted me about 7 weeks. When it ran out I figured I'd try removing it from my regime to see if I could notice a difference. I started to get irritation after shaving almost immediately, and within a couple of days razor bumps and ingrown hairs were starting to become a problem again. I picked up another tube of the product and within a few days things were comfortable again. So, this product definitely works in my opinion. The Oil Control Solution from Lab Series is also great to dab on any problem ingrown hairs you may get and well worth investing in.

good stuff...
5I have just ordered my 2nd tube today. I certainly have seen a difference in my beard my growth, slightly finer stubble. Provides good moisturisation too. Although I have to admit, I have changed my shaving regime so I use a Merkur Razor instead of a Bic, so whether its all coincidental or not I dont know. I think the razor gives me a closer shave, and the after shave gives it a nice moisture and slows down growth. GO try it out.

Does Exactly What It Says On The Tin!
5I've been using the triple benefit post shave for about a month now, and indeed my beard is growing back finer and softer, and in-growing hairs are becoming a 'Pest of the past' thanks to Lab Series! Would recommend to anyone with an in-growing hair problem.
