Geo F Trumper Block of Alum
The original antiseptic after shave block. Dampened and rubbed on the face it has a styptic effect to stop bleeding and close nicks and cuts. It also helps to close the pores and leaving the skin soft and smooth.

"I use a block of this after shaving... just rub it all over shaved area then put on an aftershave lotion. Stops any bleeding on nicks and cuts and leaves your skin amazingly smooth. Highly recommended and will last an absolute age too!"

Bleeding marvellous!
"I quite ofen nick myself shaving and it takes ages to stop the bleeding.. This alum bar works a treat and stops it immediately. You just wet it and run it over the shaved portion of your face. Gives a nice tingle and smoothes your skin. I moisturise after though. "

"I brought this for my husband and he thinks it's great. It stings slightly when he applies the block after shaving, but it seems to reduce bleeding/redness. The block itself is a bit larger than other products I've seen online, and comes in a plastic box, so won't make a mess in the bathroom."

"I had never seen Alum before, but my girlfriend got me one to try, I have to say it's fantastic. The block lasts ages and you just rub it around where you have shaved while your face is still wet and its stops any annoying little cuts from bleeding and red shaving rash. You probably all stuck tissue on you face and waited after a cut before, but at this price you can't go wrong, as it will probably going to last me over a year!"
Well worth buying
"I wasn't sure about this but I thought I would try it (glad I did). Just wet it with cold water then rub on face after shaving and you can really feel it If you cut yourself during shaving. Wet it with warm water rub on the cut it stops the bleeding."

"...but... if you have sensitive skin like mine, you're probably in need of a moisturiser as well. It does give a lovely smooth feeling after a shave with Trumper's Cream."
