Face meringue!
After reading a blog review for this Trumpers Eucris Hard Shaving Soap in Wooden Bowl I was expecting a hard to lather soap but it couldn't be further from the truth. I started using this after a period of using Blue beards revenge shave cream and in direct comparison to that, have found this much easier to a achieve a consistent high quality lather. I shake my brush out fairly well after its soak then swirl the tips of the brush lightly on the top of the soap for about 5-10 seconds, then into my lather bowl and it is quickly whipped up into a beautiful thick lather that is more than enough for 3 very comfortable passes. And given how little impact I have had on the soap puck so far I would expect this to last a long time making it a very economical purchase. The scent is fairly strong but pleasant enough mainly noticeable while you're whipping up the lather and I find it provides a nice slick cushion for the razor so all up a very satisfying shave soap.
