Chestnut Extract- Chestnut Extract is derived from the Horse Chestnut Tree. Originally grown in Asia and northern Greece, this tree produces fruits made up of a spiny capsule that resembles a walnut. In skin care, this extract is used to improve the skins barrier function, thereby helping the skin to retain and restore its lipids.
Vitamin C- Vitamin C, also known as Ascorbyl Palmitate, is a white, crystalline vitamin found in citrus fruits, tomatoes and green, leafy vegetables. An important antioxidant, it also offers clarifying benefits. Its stabilized, synthetically derived version, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, is an effective antioxidant.
Vitamin E- Vitamin E is a lipid soluble naturally found in plant leaves, cereal germ oils, and milk. It is known for its antioxidant and moisturising properties.

"Great if you have combined skin or in warm weather.Give skin a refreshing feel.Not greasy and ads good moisture to shaven skin. If you have real dry or mature skin, you may be wanting a more dense product. This is a high quality product!"

"I've been using Kiehl's Facial Fuel for over five years and I wouldn't use any other moisturiser - it's light refreshing and soothes skin after shaving. I would go so far as to say this product is addictive. I have also tried the Facial Fuel Anti-Wrinkle Cream but don't find it as good. "

Good Stuff!
"I had heard Kiehl's Facial Fuel Energizing Moisturiser described as "legendary", which is of course a huge overstatement. It is, in truth, incredibly similar in look and smell to Nickel's Lendemain De Fete, but this is slightly milder, which is no bad thing. It really is non-oily, but I didn't need to use another moisturiser after it - thankfully. Well worth a try."

"I use Kiehl's Facial Fuel Energizing Moisturiser after Facial Fuel wash and it prolongs the freshening feeling. Very mattifying. It is also now a staple of my routine. Fairly long-lasting in terms of quantity. Again, I agree that it seems like a milder version of Nickel's product - but with a more thorough hydrating effect which lasts."

"I will just say that as with most non-oily moisturisers I do feel a bit of a residue on my face but that is outweighed by the amazing smell and cool refreshing feel of the product.
Really wakes you up in a morning and I vastly prefer it to Nickel's Morning After gel.
Can't get enough of the stuff."

Good stuff
"Kiehl's Facial Fuel Energizing Moisturiser is a great product but it seems like my skin requires a bit more moisture locking. Lack of SPF protection is a real pain as you then need to add another product on your face in the morning. Kiehl's should realise that men like simple process and all in one type product. Having said all his, I will still always have it in my bathroom."
