MK Editors Pick: Triumph & Disaster

If there’s one thing we love at Mankind, it’s a new-to-site grooming brand we can really sink our teeth in to. Triumph & Disaster is a male skincare brand which not only delivers amazing products and formulations, but also has a fantastic story behind it. Helping you to look great from head to toe, the range is packed full of essentials for your every day regime, alongside a few additional add-ons to enhance your game every now and again.

First Things First, Triumph & Disaster – What’s Their Story?

As mentioned, Triumph & Disaster are a brand with quite the story behind them. In 2002, a former New Zealand cricket team player named Dion Nash retired and pin pointed a gap in the male skincare market. After a few years he decided to use his knowledge and understanding of the sporting world, alongside his passion for skincare, to launch his very own range: Triumph & Disaster.

Soon after the initial launch, two more former cricketers, Reece Young and Kerry Walmsley, upped their game and joined the Triumph & Disaster team. As the team spent most of their time in their previous career out on the pitch, they all developed a logical understanding of skincare which they now incorporate into each product.

Time to Up Your Game and Skincare Routine?

As brand has been developed by drawing in real-life experiences, all by a team who know their skincare on and off the field, you can rest assured that you can trust their products. With this in mind, it can be quick tricky to know where to start when adding a new brand to your collection. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back and below are just a few of our recommendations from the range to try today.
