Major anti-ageing, beauty brand Antipodes has landed at Mankind (all the way from New Zealand!), and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Remember guys, wrinkles aren’t just reserved for the ladies, unfortunately, our ageing skin is partial to the odd crow’s feet here and there, so it’s great that there’s products out there that help turn back the hands of time. What’s better about Antipodes, which describes itself as a scientific, organic beauty brand, is that it only uses ingredients formulated directly from nature.
Interestingly, Antipodes uses an independent laboratory for blind study scientific testing of its products, which is performed on human fibroblast skin cells to ensure you get the best product possible. The nature-conscious beauty brand also carefully selects bioactive extracts from sustainably cultivated native plants to create skincare products that are scientifically shown to help improve the appearance of skin, making it look healthier and more youthful. The brand also avoids synthetic preservatives and the products’ packaging is 100% biodegradable, making it completely recyclable.
But enough gushing about the brand, what about the products?! Let’s get down to it.
The Antipodes Joyous Protein-Rich Serum is a silky night serum, that helps to rescue dry and damaged skin. The organic serum contains Himalayan goji berry that boasts up to 19 amino acids to help optimise your skin’s appearance – and reduce wrinkles – double whammy. Helping to refresh your complexion, the natural ingredient serum blends blackcurrant, a rich source of essential fats, hibiscus flower and berry fragrance to create a pure joyous scent. The serum helps restore elastin, deliver natural radiance, purify and protect your skin. It’s a winner in our eyes.
The Aura Manuka Honey Mask by Antipodes is a unique face mask formulated with natural ingredients which works to give you a refreshed, supple complexion. It smells pretty good, too. Boasting a light scent of vanilla, mandarin and antibacterial manuka honey as its main ingredient, the ancient remedy is favourited by the New Zealand Maori people. It helps keep the skin deeply cleansed, moisturised and amazingly rejuvenated.
Not just for the ladies, the Antipodes Divine Avocado and Rosehip Face Oil has been scientifically proven to stimulate Type 1 collagen in the complexion’s skin cells by up to 51%. And you know what that means – firmer skin. It’s packed full of antioxidants and vitamins found in the avocado oil in the formula. Your skin will be protected against environmental damage, whilst also feeling much more hydrated and soft – thanks to the rosehip oil. This one’s not one to miss out on!
So what do you think? Will you be trying any Antipodes products? Go on, your skin deserves it!
You can shop the full Antipodes range here at Mankind.

Major fan of scented candles, Make Up brushes and Highlighter. I’m always on the hunt for those Holy Grail products and my dressing table is covered in more beauty products than I like to admit. As an adopted Northerner originally from Brighton, I spend most my days wondering what all this rain is about. My hair isn’t grateful for the move.
