Excellent

Great product that I started to use a number of years ago. Works great with short hair and now I am growing my hair longer is perfect. I find it helps keep my hair controlled. Finally stay safe everyone!

Flexible matte with good hold

I personally use Sponge Wax as a pre-styler before I blow dry my hair into place. I use this if I want a neat, smooth look. I use Quicksand for a more textured, beachy look. After blow drying with this in, my hair is perfectly set it place and ready to finish off with a dab of Claymation (my favorite product). This also works great for a basic combover style that doesn’t need a lot of lift / volume in the front. It doesn’t finish as matte as Claymation or Quicksand, but is still matte with just a very slight sheen to it. Great versatile product!

Just the best. I have been looking a hair product which has strong hold without making your hair look greasy. Thank you for such an amazing product the difference is so noticeable

Flexible matte with good hold

I've used several different products over the years to style my hair. I've tried traditional gels, pomade, mousse, and even hair spray. This Hanz product has really surprised me. With just a tiny bit in my hands, I was able to effectively style my hair with ease! I would definitely recommend this product!

The Trick To Using Sponge Wax

When this product first arrived I was very disappointed with it, on the jar it stated that it has high hold but when I used it on my mid length (very straight) hair it did absolutly nothing except add a bit of shine and moisture so i threw it in the cupboard for a few months and completely forgot about it. But as autumn started turning into winter and my hair got progressively drier I pulled it out from the cupboard and cocktailed it with claymation to add some much needed moisture to my hair (I recommend giving this a go for anyone with dry hair; it worked very well). After a while i gave it another chance on its own but with the new tactic of NOT EMULSIFYING IT FULLY in my hands but still making sure its spread out evenly so that it can be applied evenly to my hair; this worked much better and ended up giving my hair a really nice bouncy hold and natural shine, i still wouldn't call it high hold but with an apropriate pre styler like OGX argan oil moose it really is all you'll ever need. i am giving it 4 stars because it is a very good styling product once you learn how to use it, it washes out easily and it can really help if you have dry hair however it looses the fith star because it is not obvious enough about how to use it

Good but not for my hair type

For me it did pretty much nothing, not compatible with straight thick asian hair.

Hanz De Fuko Sponge Wax

Hanz De Fuko Sponge Wax Works ok as a base product. Use it to style damp hair then blow dry into place & then add another product for control & shine. I expected it to hold my hair in position more & keep it in shape for a day like in many YouTube videos. Maybe the quicksand variant is stronger.

Awesome

Makes styling shorter hair very easy and I love the texture/styling of my hair with this product. The small jar goes a long way as you only need a small amount to style.
